Our story started long before we officially launched this business
We’ve been together for over five years, and for most of that time, we’ve been creating together. Michaela spent years running her own wedding photography business, and Keenan often came along as her second shooter. It didn’t take long to realize that we shared a deep love for storytelling — especially the kind grounded in real emotion and beautiful visuals.
With Keenan’s background in film (he studied it at Ohio University and grew up around the industry thanks to his dad), and Michaela’s years of experience behind the lens, starting a filmmaking studio felt like the natural next step.
So in 2023
Now, we travel capturing weddings for couples who value intention, connection, and a film that actually feels like them. Our home base is a self-converted camper van named Ricky — he takes us (and our gear) from one celebration to the next. And wherever we go, you’ll find our dog Atticus (aka Attie) right there with us. He’s our co-pilot, our trail buddy, our everything.
the beginning had its twists
We launched Inyun Films
Like any good story,
Michaela was still working full-time in marketing, and Keenan was running a sports production company with his brother. It wasn’t until the fall of 2024 that we both decided to go all in. That leap of trust shaped Inyun Films into what it is today: a destination wedding film studio focused on honest, cinematic storytelling.
